It took her no time at all to figure out the bed is a great place to spend the night. She slept with us last night, much of the time on her back. Talk about trust!
She is also very smart about getting attention/helping me with my desk and computer work.
She was found as a stray and brought to the shelter a couple weeks ago, where they named her Serena. I will be considering alternatives as I get to know her better, and am open to suggestions.
She is a real sweetie and loves to lie on my lap and purr. Perfect!
She's beautiful! Congrats on your new baby! Sounds like she must have been well-cared for and loved in her previous life and you found a real keeper. I don't have name suggestions, but I'll think about it. She looks intelligent and inquisitive and I'm seeing her with something a bit perkier than Serena, but that's a pretty name if you like it. Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful! She looks and sounds just perfect for you! You could always call her Alice...or, Ally, for short... Loryn likes Cookie--maybe she's a little hungry!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you've got a pet. I think I'd have a hard time spending 2 years there without one.
ReplyDeleteIt's been fun keeping up periodically with your news.

She is the first of several pets we plan to get. One more kitty, and then a dog.
ReplyDeleteSHE IS A BEAUTY GLENDA. BUT SHE IS NO SERENA. TAKE A FEW WEEKS AND A NAME WILL COME TO YOU BASED ON HER HABITS. SHE HAS BIG BRIGHT EYES AND LOOKS CURIOUS.
ReplyDeleteWE WON OUR ARBITRATION CASE AND EVERY PENNY WE ASKED FOR. NOW WE HAVE TO COLLECT. ALWAYS THE PROBLEM.
