Dark Days

The sun is missing.

Rain, rain, go away. Come again some other day.

Ken and I went on a fantastic vacation to Tasmania. We had wonderful weather and wonderful adventures every day of the trip. Since we returned home we have had nothing but rain. Better here than while on vacation, but depressing gray skies have got me down.

Have you ever noticed that if you're in a bad mood, all you see is bad news? Earthquakes, economic and career crises, winter storms and health issues with loved ones all weigh my heart down. I had intended to share my photos from the trip last week, but somehow feel guilty going on about the good times I'm having while others suffer so much.

I know I'm spoiled, but I've had enough of waking up to gray skies.

  1. It's good to be sensitive to others trials and tribulations, but I don't subscribe to the misery loves company philosophy. When I'm down, I like to see and hear about bright spots and enjoy taking vicarious vacations so, please, do show us the photos and tell us about your trip. I know it will make me smile and hopefully lift others' spirits as well. And maybe by the time you are done, the sun will be out!
