Eat, Drive, Work

The last month has been a busy one, a fitting ending to what has been one of the busiest years of my life.

The meeting I wrote about in my last post was the first of many new and enjoyable events that marked the holiday season and kept me so busy that I didn't make time to to sit down and blog.

  • Eat and eat and eat: This last month we've enjoyed a lot of wonderful social dinners - Thanksgiving, several Christmas events, and a dinner out with a group of Ken's colleagues that were in town for a few weeks as well as harvesting the sweet corn from our garden (yum!). Here's Ken making Cheese Bread which we took to the Thanksgiving feast.

  • Drive and drive and drive: Between 11 December and 18 December, we drove over 900 miles to Adelaide, spent a week driving around the area, then drove back home... with a bit of vehicle trouble along the way just to make it interesting.

  • Work and work and work: The two other employees of the museum have been on holidays since about 20 December, so I've been filling the shoes of three people since then and will continue to do so the rest of this week; meanwhile Ken has been busy with paperwork involved in an ownership change at his company.
Downloading, organizing, and selecting photos to share is a very time-consuming task -- I just spent a half hour trying to do some of that for this post and my buggy software crashed and it turns out I don't have a single image I thought I'd downloaded. Cover your ears while I scream, please!

ARR!NNAHHAYAR*ZGWAH*!#

OK, thanks, I'm going to go do something else now. See you later!
