Yes, I'm still here. I recently read a blog poster say that it's better to post daily than, say, three times a week because that way you just do it and don't think too much about it or give yourself permission to not bother because you're just not in the mood. Maybe she has a point.
I have an enormous backlog of topics and photos, so where to begin? Let the readers decide!
OK, the first person to "vote" by sending me an email or posting a comment will get their topic of choice as my next post. Your choices are:
- Playing with Fabric - my recent purchases + what I've been doing with some of it here at home
- ANZAC Day - parade and ceremony
- Wearable Arts - annual "fashion" show celebrating desert creativity
- Desert MOB - annual indigenous art market and symposium
- Desert Festival - annual festivities event including music, food, art and more
- Around Melbourne - street scenes and such
- Tasmanian train trip
- Fleurieu Peninsula (Adelaide trip)
- Coober Pedy (opal mining)
Well, there's lots more but that's a good list for now. Let the voting begin! My second post will be whatever gets the most response.
Cheers,
Glenda

I vote for the fabric you bought and what you are doing with it! Just got home Friday from an all-week quilting retreat in a house we rented in Mount Shasta, CA, just 40 minutes south of where I live (Yreka). Got lots done, but want to see what you are planning on doing!!! --Connie
ReplyDeleteConnie, congratulations! You win. And I suspect there are a few others out there who would like to see the fabric, so tomorrow I will post. Nice to hear from you. (For those who may not know, this is Ken's sister, the one who made us the gorgeous quilt you saw in our anniversary dinner photos.)
ReplyDeleteWow, it looks like you had so much fun! I am glad this was your blog topic. My vote for your next blog after you finish showing us your fabrics is the Tasmanian Train.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Val.
