Carlessness

Not a typo - carlessness, i.e., a state of being without a car. To me, having a car represents autonomy, freedom and independence. If I didn't already know that, I learned it after I sold my car yesterday. For the first time in over thirty years I don't own a car. Realizing what this meant caused me to have a minor meltdown last night. Ken said and did, and continues to say and do, all the right things to keep me moving forward. Being with him makes it all worthwhile.

  1. Not owning a car - freedom from mtnce bills, insurance payments and driving stress! Ahh, to be a lady of leisure chauffered by a peach of a guy. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ken is a real peach! Is he carless, yet??? Congrats on the quick sale and shedding more stuff - on to new adventures!
